Well, I know I have a few friends here that don't use Facebook, so I'll let everyone know here.
Josh and I are officially engaged, he proposed two days ago. I had to take the ring in to be resized so I'll get it back on Saturday.

I really want to take a day sometime soon and work on an Etsy page. I have people all the time at con's and such ask me if I have one, or why don't have one, etc. I want a real website, but that will have to wait for a bit.
So any fellow crafty friends who know a bit of the in's and out's of the Etsy website, if you have any advice etc feel free to pass it this lay-days way.

So I recently got a Droid cell phone, and though at first it pissed me off a bit (not a fan of change and I kinda missed my old phone Xp), but I'm slowly getting used to it. I also relised that I could prolly start updating LJ again. Saddly not to much to update. Still in Ohio, hopeing to move to Columbus sometime in the near future. The town I'm currently living in currently, let's just say if the appocolypse starts here, I wouldn't be surprised, their is nothing here.
Working on new cosplays, including a" Staycie approved" Babydoll from Suckerpunch costume. Meaning mine will modestly cover my tummy. I also want to try Tommy February 6, and Sunako Chan from The Wallflower.
As usual this time of year, I'm greatly looking forward to the Memorial day party. Already got recipes in mind for shtoof to make.
I guess that's about all for now, I'll try to update more often from now on.

ps. If anything looks weird in this post it's prolly due to this phone trying to auto fix words it dousnt understand.

So I know it's been like 6 months since I wrote anything, but I guess I should post whats been up with me as of late.
So I'm still a server at Skyline chili, but as of recent events I am hopeing that I will be able to get a better paying job that a friend of mine just happens to be leaving. She has put in her two weeks notice and I will be emailing them my updated resume later tonight, so keep me in your prayers, it's not a super amazing job, but it will be so much better for Josh and I, and we will be able to taker better care of ourselves.

So as of Saturday my kitty Oreo has been under quarantine, yes, you read that right (though possably spelled wrong, sorry). At around 4am Saturay, Josh got up briefly to use the bathroon and Oreo seemed fine and dandy, her normal sweet self. But when he left, she suddenly was doing her impresion of Church, the zombie cat from "Pet Sematary" (now that is spelled right, check out the book). She was freaking, growling, screaming, hissing, clawing. So after locking our other cat Chaplin in the bedroom with us, we felt like prisoners in our own Apt. Tortured by a three pound kitty. After a few calls and about an hour of fighting to get her in her carrier, we took her to the vet. It was good/bad news, he couldnt find anything wrong with her. They said maybe she ate a bug that slightly poisined her (which I could beleave since she eats bugs all the time). So they told us just to put her away by herself for a few days and see how she is. So we've locked her in our office with food, water and a litter box, and she seem's ok now around me, but she still will hiss at Josh off and on. I told him it's prolly just her remembering how he had to fight/yell at her on Saturday and is still scared/pissed at him for it. We need to just leave her alone for a few more days, it's just a little hard since the room is right next to ours so we hear her crying etc all night.
If anyone here has any ideas, or has kinda gone though the same thing with a pet, let me know.
We might try to go to an SPCA or something to get some blood work done for cheap if she's the same in about a week. And if anyone is curiouse, she never goes outside and all her shots are up to date.

In less depressing/stressful news, I'm gearing up for both Ikasucon in July and Matsuricon in Aug.
Though I've been really bad about working on art table stuff and cosplays.
I've just been depressed and stressed(as stated above) latley, so I havnt had the drive to do anything. I'm hoping that in about a week or two I'll be better and more on top of it. I do work better under presure after all. (and talk about pressure, ther con is in 5 weeks right now). But I've pulled costumes out of my ass like 3 days before had before, though I'm hopeing more for 3 weeks before this time.

So I guess thats all for now.
I'll try to keep up on updateing here more often, Facebook has kinda stolen me, but Livejournal is still my first love.

Poor captain maggots fell here, she tripped over Emilie, but she was a trooper and got right back up(dude seriously, that has to be at least an 8ft fall, that can't feel good):

One of the best parts was when Captain Maggots went crowd surffing and fell right into me a gave me a quick kiss, totally took me off gurd (kissing is like 50% of their show so don't be to weirded out).
Also got vodka tea spit on my (by the band), and minni muffins thrown out into the audiance.
Two of the girls used to work for circuses so their was also alot of fire eating, fire hula hooping, upside down swinging from the ceiling and much more.
It was much more that just a regular concert.
Jane got some photo's from it so I'll have to get those from here and put them up soon.

So sine I relised I hadnt updated about my job, I shall now.
So I started about two weeks ago and was pretty happy about how fast I cought on.
So I started serving yesterday (finally, I've only been trying to get a server position for like the past 7 years), and got it really fast. So I can happily say that I'm likeing my job so far, and that good seeing that out of like 12 job's I only ever liked 1 and tolorated one other,apsolutly hated the others. In fact I hate retail ingeneral.
I loved working at the childrens museum because in felt more lke an office job (but paid min. wage), and I only liked Joann's because I not only knew the merchandise well before I started, but would buy it on a regular basis.
But I really like this job, it's not super hard, the people I work with are ok, and I get fre food (in all honesty thats a big plus because it saves me money).
So I'm not only happy with my job, but I actually feel good about myself, like I'm actually doing something. (Made me think of poor Jay and how hard he had it for sometime).

Other than that not to much else, just gearing up for the cons in August. Working on Panel shtoof, and art table swag, which I will try to get some pics soon.

So yay for me I got a job. But it's only temporarily.
I will be working at the same resturant as thejoshieg  as a server.
I had never applied their for the simple fact that since Josh worked their I prolly wouldnt be hired, but his boss was super awesome and sorta made a deal with me.
I can work their a few hours a week while looking for another job so I'll make a little bit of money (including tips), and I can put on other applications that I currently have a job (because as we all know, it's easyer to find a job when you have one), and I also don't have that giant gap of time I didn't work. Plus I'll finally have server experiance so I can try to go to a bigger resturant.

Other than that not to much, loking forward to seeing bluebellchan  and her family this week, their comeing up to visit for a few days.
Much fun will be had.

ello ello,
So my friend Krayne was soopa awesome and got me a gift card for Joann fabrics as a late birthday gift, and I have to say it was so awesome of him, it really helped me out.
I got alot of stuff for my art table, I'm so happy.
Plus some fabrics for my costumes.

Speaking of which, I had to update my costumes that will be done.
terranell , if you see this, I guess I won't be needing the wig for bad girl after all, I'm so sorry but I relised I'm crazy poor so I woulnt be able to afford it. But I still planing on doing it in the near future, so I will get back to you about it later if thats ok. I will email you.
I was also going to do Tommy February 6, but sadly same thing, lack of money, and sewing machine since mine died.
I was hopeing to buy one before the con, but I guess it looks like I'll be hand sewing everything again this year.
Thats ok, I'm used to it and good at it.
So the costumes that I WILL be doing are Coraline (anoyingly I can't find a picture of her without Wybie and the one ghost action figures), Isabella (I wore it last year, but I got so over heated that I had it on for less than 30 min. ), and Josh and I are going as Tohru and Kyo from fruits basket (but not these costumes).

Also got fabric to make a wonder pets cape for Adrianna (like this one) because wonder pets is the shiz-nit.
Stated useing Pandora, so if anyone wants to share stations just let me know.
Which reminds me, af peoples want to share Wii codes let me know.
